I went out and enjoyed the amazing warm weather the other day and ran 40 rounds though the M48. Every time I shoot this baby im impressed by the smoothness of the action (for the price) and how accurate the iron sites are. Reminds me of the classic muscle car. When you pull it out of the case/garage everyone is interested but they make remarks like that's cool, old school, cool but lacks performance. Then you hit the range/road and just take it easy for a while letting them build up there confidence. Then you let all the stops out and peel rubber shifting into 4th and leaving them to eat your dust. Refreshing to see the old preform on the same level with the new.

LCR
SO Ruger is taunting me with the new LCR, and so far its working. I just got a nice email from them and thought id share the amazing picture it had of it. Apparently its coming in March which is a bummer seeing as how I wont be able to get one until December but ill let other guys make sure it works ok before I sink my money into one. I like S&W and all but im really exicted that someone might just finally be giving them a run for the money.

LCR
Ok Ruger has knocked my socks off with the new LCR. LCR .38 Special Plus P five-shot pocket revolver. Cool thing is that it used polymer on a lot of the frame making it nice and light (way to early to see how it holds up). Kinda early to see to much but it is supposed to MSRP at $525 and a laser grip model coming in at $792.

As im waiting for the SHOT show to come and go I ponder a prediction that Steve made and that I am hoping comes true.
A 9mm Ruger LCP. I have always wanted a 380 one but would defiantly buy one in 9mm (just so I don't have to buy both another caliper of ammo. I would probably go crazy trying to get one, as it is hard to carry around the ole 5906 in warmer weather (well not an issue right now but come summer and it will be). Im a big ruger fan and while I only have a 10/22 I am just dieing to get my hands on a mini (for a decent price) instead of the AR, SKS or AK platform.

Fleetwood
So I was wandering around my local car graveyard looking for some parts for my car when I see this mysterious looking car thingy. A closer look revealed a 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood. An even closer look revealed a 8.2 liter V8 (gulp). All wrapped up in a nice compact 20-25 foot long package. Needless to say it was quite the interesting car.
